Plague Stopped - Dr. Vahzilok Arrested

It all started when an Elite Force contact leaked word of a deadly new Vahzilok disease. Eager to help, LibertyBell went into the streets and the sewers to collect data on the diseased Vahzilok. But her heroism was not without its price. She learned that she had been infected with the deadly Vahzilok plague.

The contact sent LibertyBell to Professor St. John-Smythe for a cure. But when she arrived at the professor's labs, she found them under attack. She defeated the Vahzilok inside and saved the professor's colleagues, along with some of the precious serum they had concocted. Grateful for her help, one of the scientists used this needle to administer the cure.

Restored to full health, LibertyBell inlisted the help of fellow Elite Force member Alectro and ventured into the sewers once more, this time on a mission to incinerate the contaminated bodies. They came face to face with Dr. Vahzilok himself, but the mad doctor was not able to prevent the Elite Force from ridding the world of his plague.

Elite Force teams with Angels of Paragon

Monday evening Divinity and Sunstroke of The Elite Force teamed with members of The Angels of Paragon to embark on a Task Force for Manticore in pursuit of Countess Crey. From the first grim words Manticore spoke, it was apparent that this would not be a standard job. After the Task Force pulled an informant named Drake out of a Crey facility, it became clear that Manticore was right. Countess Crey was walking in the shadows.
Using Drake's information, the team shut down a Crey facility trying to merge Rikti technology with high-powered computer systems. A mysterious tip on a computer screen pointed toward a possible encounter with the countess herself. The message's sender claimed to be Dr. Friedkin, a former Crey employee now consigned to life in a machine.
Friedkin's tip did lead to the countess' location, but the quarry escaped.
With no good leads to work from, they took Manticore's advice and rousted some Crey agents. One of them divulged the location of another Crey facility.
The Task Force then went to the facility, and it seemed that luck was on their side. They found another message from Dr. Friedkin.
But it was a trap. The countess had discovered that Friedkin was helping, and the second message was nothing but Countess Crey's ruse. Despite overwhelming forces she summoned to defeat them, the combined team prevailed.
The countess then tried a different tactic. Her forces kidnapped City Councilman Birch and threatened to kill. She hoped that the team would fail, thus ruining their reputations, but they rescued the councilman in the nick of time.
But it wasn't over yet. It seemed Hopkins took your actions against Countess Crey as a personal affront. He put forth a test, and the reward was a battle with him.
Having passed Hopkins' test, the team was guided to his location. In an epic battle the countess' most trusted minion was defeated.

Sunstroke Joins Elite Force

Veteran hero Sunstroke officially joined The Elite Force Monday evening. Sun, as he is often referred to as, has been semi-retired and has been searching for his missing sister Wondergirl. He has yet to find her but refuses to give up. Wondergirl, a former member of The Elite Force herself, disappeared almost a year ago without a clue and has not been heard from since.
