Sunstroke and War Witch an Item?

Sunstroke has been seen hanging around Pocket D with War Witch frequently over the last couple of weeks. When asked if the two were dating a spokesperson for the heroes denied the rumors insisting that they are just good friends. DJ Zero isn't buying it however. He was overheard talking about the couple to another Pocket D patron describing the two as having been getting very "close" on the dance floor.

Wow! Sucks To Be You!

I bet this Rikti wished he had stayed in bed this morning. Instead he decided to fight Shavaya & Ligress along with members of Prime, Alornan and Fnord. He and his buddies wont make that mistake again.

Wondergirl Found!

Wondergirl is believed to have been found in Mercy Island. The younger sister of Sunstroke has been missing for over a year and was thought to be dead. Wondergirl is calling herself Miss Wonder now, the name Wondergirl apparently was demeaning. The name isn't the only change she has undergone. She now appears to be working on the other side of the law. Sunstroke is working feverishly to get in contact with his sister and bring her back to Paragon City.

Kronos Titan Defeated in Founders Falls

A giant Malta Kronos Titan was seen in Founders Falls yesterday. More than twenty heroes, including Angelface and Ligress of the Angels of Paragon, worked together to defeat the deadly behemoth. The battle was difficult but the heroes eventually triumphed.

Angels of Paragon Stop Devouring Earth

It all began when Ginger Yates sent Ligress to a lab to bust up a raid by the Devouring Earth. After routing the creatures, she spoke to Dr. Steven Sheridan, who determined that the creatures had used the lab to manufacture drugs that hamper the body's ability to fight off infections.

Seeking more information, the Elite Force associate, and current member of the Angels of Paragon, went to a front company owned by Fauna First, the eco-terrorist group aiding the Devouring Earth. There it was discovered that the creatures had turned on the activists and kidnapped one of their members, Tanya Tyler. The first attempt to rescue Tanya yielded only a map, scrawled on a love letter written to the young woman from the Devouring Earth's leader, Hamidon.

Tanya's map led to her new location, and Ligress learned her story: Tanya knew Hamidon before he was the master of the Devouring Earth. She said that the creatures were probably created by a sentient bacteria Hamidon developed, a bacteria he called the 'Will of the Earth.'

Ginger Yates took Tanya to a safehouse while Ligress, now with the help of other Angels of Paragon including former Elite Force member Divinity, went out to stop another Devouring Earth raid. The team defeated the monsters, but not before they made off with several cases of fertility drugs. Yates proposed a theory: the drug thefts, Tanya's kidnapping, Hamidon's strange attraction to her: all pointed to one conclusion. Hamidon intended to change Tanya into a Devouring Earth matriarch, a creature capable of breeding more Devouring Earth creatures.

While at the lab, Hamidon's monsters recaptured Tanya. She was rescued again, but not before the Devouring Earth infected her. Ligress took her to a lab for treatment, but she transformed into a Devouring Earth monster and escaped, leaving no choice but to track her down and defeat her.

ScreamQueen Goes Rogue

Elite Force member ScreamQueen, who's mental state has always been in question, went on a rampage yesterday terrorizing the crowd watching an event at the Galaxy City Arena. She was promptly arrested and incarcerated at the Ziggurat in Brickstown. Sometime within the next six hours she managed to escape with the help of Arachnos agents and is in the Rogue Isles now. This photo was taken just hours after her flight from Paragon City. The woman dressed in red is believed to be Kalinda, a high ranking Arachnos agent. Extradition from the Rogue Isles back to the United States is highly unlikely if not impossible but the Elite Force is considering a covert operation to extract ScreamQueen and bring her back to justice.

Divinity & Ligress Leave Elite Force!

At a time when the Elite Force is trying to rebuild, Divinity and Ligress have left the team. Last night the two long standing members of the Elite Force decided to accept positions with the Angels of Paragon. Members of both groups are no strangers to each other and have teamed frequently over the last year and a half. The remaining members of the Elite Force believe the move is a positive one. Patriot, founder of Elite Force, hopes that the move will strengthen the relationship between the to groups even further, possibly leading to an official coalition sometime in the future.
